These volume collects issues #39 - 50 of the the classic Buffy comics。 What I liked -Despite some lacklustre stories the art at least remains consistent。 The tradition of getting Sarah Michelle Gellar’s nose right lives on here and for the most part the other characters are drawn well enough like their actors。 The stories contained continue to fit well within the show (though they’re non canonical) and the tone gets decidedly darker, much like season 6。 What I disliked - In other reviews I’ve po These volume collects issues #39 - 50 of the the classic Buffy comics。 What I liked -Despite some lacklustre stories the art at least remains consistent。 The tradition of getting Sarah Michelle Gellar’s nose right lives on here and for the most part the other characters are drawn well enough like their actors。 The stories contained continue to fit well within the show (though they’re non canonical) and the tone gets decidedly darker, much like season 6。 What I disliked - In other reviews I’ve pointed out the disjointed nature of the ways in which these collections are printed and volume 6 is potentially the worst。 I can’t understand why Boom didn’t just reprint the small omnibus editions Dark Horse did but in the same scale as these releases。 It would’ve made for a much better read。 The end story in this collection is so disjointed it’s quite unenjoyable and annoying for just how random it reads。 2/5 。。。more
